matthew broussard nacque a lake charles, louisiana negli stati uniti. cresciuto a dallas texas, frequenta il liceo artistico booker t. Washington, e completa gli studi con la laurea in scultura alla maryland institute college of art a baltimora nel maryland. passò alcuni anni a vagabondare tra stati uniti e vari paesi in europa, per stabilirsi in italia nel 1992. da allora vive e lavora a carrara, partecipando a mostre nazionali ed internazionali. dal 2001 cura la pocket gallery www.pocketgallery.net		matthew broussard was born in lake charles, louisiana in the united states. raised in dallas texas, he attended the arts magnet high school at booker t. washington, and completed his studies with a BFA in sculpture at the maryland institute college of art in baltimore, maryland. he spent several years wandering between the united states and Europe, and settled finally in italy in 1992. he lives and works in carrara, participating regularly in national and international exhibitions. since 2001 he is the owner and director of the pocket gallery www.pocketgallery.net
