Ogni giorno siamo bombardati di statistiche su quanto inquiniamo: tonnellate di rifiuti, metri cubi di anidride carbonica ecc... ma tutte queste statistiche sono astratte come lo è lo scioglimento dei ghiacci polari. Sembra non riguardare la nostra vita quotidiana. E’ sufficiente, però, mettere una cornice attorno ad una cosa invisibile per renderla subito tangibile. Una busta di plastica, quella appunto delle serra agricole, attaccata allo scarico di una macchina, che si gonfia, piano piano, per rivelare la natura vera, fisica di quel che accade ad un qualsiasi semaforo della città.		We are overwhelmed daily by statistics regard pollution: tons of refuse, cubic metres of carbon monoxide, etc...but on a daily basis, all of this seems as abstract as the melting of the polar ice caps. It doesn't touch our normal lives. Isolating the process: putting a frame around something invisible, makes it radically tangible. A plastic bag, the same plastic used in agriculture for making greenhouses, attatched to the exhaust pipe of an automobile which slowly inflates to 27 cubic metres reveals the real, physical, tangible nature of any given traffic light in any given city.
